GrepBeat (Tech News Outlet)
Project: ‘In The Soup’ Podcast
In The Soup is a short, weekly podcast that answers the most pressing questions in the Triangle startup community. The host solicits questions from listeners and gathers insights from local experts.
For the podcast, I:
- Oversee all aspects of podcast’s production
- Help plan out topics for each episode
- Manage the podcast production schedule and development
- Support podcast host and team
- Promote the show and develop marketing strategies
- Monitor each episode’s analytics and metrics
Project: ‘Exit Stories’ Podcast
Exit Stories features tech founders, buyers and sellers from the Triangle region and the Southeast to tell their stories about raising capital and selling their startups. Each episode is about 45 minutes.
For the podcast, I:
- Edit and produce all episodes (10 episodes/per season)
- Assist in booking and recruiting all guests
- Support podcast host and team
- Manage the podcast production schedule and development
- Promote the show and develop marketing strategies
- Monitor each episode’s analytics and metrics
Project: ‘For Starters’ Podcast
In season two of ‘For Starters’, new host Anil Chawla took a deep dive into how startups find product market fit, asking successful founders to rewind the clock and tell us how they each took what was just a vision into delighted customers and a scalable business. Anil is a tech entrepreneur and executive in the Triangle, NC, who is best known for launching the no. 1 provider of social media archiving technology, ArchiveSocial. Each episode is about 45 minutes.
For the podcast, I:
- Edited and produced all S2 ten episodes
- Promote the show and develop marketing strategies
- Assisted in booking all ten guests
- Monitored each episode’s analytics and metrics
Project: ‘Tech Culture Club’ Podcast
Tech Culture Club features local HR leaders about how to maintain a high performing work culture. The first four episodes compiled over 1000 unique downloads in one month. Tech Culture Culture is available on every streaming platform.
For the podcast, I:
- Edited and produced all S1 ten episodes
- Designed podcast logo
- Led social media campaign for podcast promo across all social media channels
- Booked all ten guests for the first season
- Monitored each episode’s analytics and metrics

MEJO 426: Audio Journalism for Radio and Podcasts
Project: Carolina Connection
Under faculty guidance, I pitched, researched, and created audio news stories for Carolina Connection, a weekly student radio program. It was distributed on iTunes and other digital platforms. Some of my stories were aired on WCHL 97.9.
